Books

I’m surrounded by research papers and end of semester projects— it’s that time of the year.  It’s the last time, because I graduate in December.  You’d think that by now I know not to start books at times like these.  Apparently not, because I started two books in the past few days, one an audiobook called The Downstairs Girl, about a Chinese America girl in the Deep South, the other Rhythm of War, a massive 1200 page fourth book in a series. It’s a trade-off, because reading when I should be doing homework sometimes makes me more stressed but often makes me really happy—books are just so good.  So that’s mostly been my media experience this week. The media of fat books and audiobooks, stories I keep thinking about and am excited to get back to.
